The Hot Metal Diner in West Mifflin is a breakfast joint featuring a 1950’s style, cozy atmosphere. It’s owner has been in the biz’ for years! They feature large portions and local ingredients.
Cole Cafe in Glenshaw has been open since 1946, and has nothing on the menu over $6.99. For a dollar, you can get an extra plate and share!
Toms Diner in the South Side features traditional diner fare and is open 24 hours! Of course they have the standard breakfast favorites, but they also feature diner classics like french fries slathered in gravy for $3.70!
Pamela’s Diner has multiple locations around the city. Their signature? Crepe-style pancakes that are out-of-this-world delicious!!! Ask President Obama!
Ritter’s Diner is another 24 hour location on Baum Boulevard in Bloomfield serving standard breakfast and other diner fare.
DeLuca’s in the strip is another breakfast place known touted as the “Best Breakfast in Town.” Locals say it’s worth the wait wrapping around the outside of the building!
The Dor-Stop in Dormont has been featured on the food network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, and has been family owned and operated for over 25 years. Two of their specialties are German potato pancakes and grits!
Cherries Diner in Downtown Pittsburgh is a tiny, classic diner with friendly service. Definitely not fancy, but they have terrific grits!
