Looking for some affordable fun on a Sunday? We’ve got a whole day planned out for you in Lawrenceville…off-the-beaten-path, and on the cheap!

We recommend you start off the ay with a late morning Sunday brunch at Coca Cafe. Enjoy unique omelet selections, all served with grilled potatoes and fruit. The menu is quite affordable. They don’t take advance reservations, but they do take call ahead seating requests, so give them a ring when you’re “on your way” and get your name on the wait list.

After brunch, it’s time for some good ol’ fashioned bowling! Arsenal Bowling Lanes offers 50 cent Sundays from 1:00-4:00pm. For a $6 admission price, you get 50 cent shoe rental, games, soda and hot dogs!

After you’ve finished bowling, it’s off for a stroll down Butler Street for some window shopping. Stop in some of the great independent stores like Wild Card, where we’re pretty sure you’ll be able to score a very unique find at an affordable price.

The shops all begin to close by around 6:00 on Sundays, which is perfect timing because now is when we send you off to your final destination spot…Brillobox. Every Sunday Brillobox features a $6 starving artist vegetarian dinner at 5:00. Past meals have featured dishes like vegetarian lasagna and veggie stew.

From breakfast to dinner… what a way to spend the day!

Don’t worry about driving or parking – take the bus! Routes that will get you closest to these Lawrenceville destinations include 91, 93, 3, 88, 64 & 54c. You can also plug your address into Port Authority’s Trip Planner to get a quick, customized route. Getting there couldn’t be easier!
