Traditional Date with an Inexpensive Twist

Okay, so the traditional date consists of nice meal and a movie, right? Well, that can get a little pricey if you go out to dinner and then hit the movie at night. Our suggestion? Just shift the time you go!

We all know that breakfast tends to be a much more affordable meal than dinner, so start by making your date on a Saturday or Sunday (or any weekday that you both might be lucky enough to have off.) Pittsburgh has some amazing diners, so you and your date can stare into each eyes over stacks of pancakes, french toast, eggs, bacon. Oh so good, and oh so affordable! Want to add a little traditional romance, pick up a rose on the way there and place it in the center of your table. ♥

After your breakfast feast, hit an earlier matinee for some movie savings. Most theaters offer fairly significant savings on shows before 5:30 or 6:00.

Going this route will probably save you at least 20 bucks, and it offers a nice change from the normal routine.
