Their 2011 self-guided Deutschtown Historic House Tour features distinctive restored homes, many built in the late 1800s, and some modern surprises. Expect a diverse array of interiors, architecture and styles, as well as five gardens.  Enjoy ethnic music, great food at our Deutschtown restaurants, and an optional end of the day wine tasting at the ‘Monks Bar’ in the Priory Hotel. Pittsburgh’s historic, acclaimed and newly expanded Priory Hotel is a centerpiece for the House Tour, which begins in the hotel’s charming courtyard on Lockhart Street.  Free parking is available in the large lot adjoining Pittsburgh’s Grand Hall.  The Steelers play out of town, so on street parking will also be readily available.
This year’s tour will be on Sunday, September 25 from 11am until 4pm. The tour will begin at the Priory Courtyard on Lockhart Street. You can pick-up your advance tickets there on the day of the event. Find up to the minute tour information, previous year’s tour photos, as well as other Deutschtown happenings on Welcome to Deutschtown’s Facebook page. Learn more information on Deutshtown’s website.
