Looking to dispose of waste not normally picked up in regular trash collection? The Pennsylvania Resources Council is hosting “Hard to Recycle” collection events in the Pittsburgh area.

At the upcoming events, individuals can drop off televisions, e-waste (including computers, monitors, keyboards printers and more), cell phones, printer/toner cartridges, compact fluorescent bulbs, alkaline batteries and ink and toner cartridge.

They will no longer be accepting  medical supplies, usable building materials, furniture, and tires at the events.  The PRC will be holding the ReuseFest Collection Event this year Рa one day collection event that focuses on reuse materials that will be held in August of 2012.

Events are held from 10am until 2pm rain or shine.Visit their website for additional information. Also, here’s a price list for recycling items. Many are free.
