Event: 99th Annual Dormont Day July 4th Celebration

Description: The Borough of Dormont in Pittsburgh’s South Hills will host its much-anticipated Dormont Day community event. Zambelli International Fireworks Display starts at 9:30pm.
Dormont Day activities and events include foot races, kids train rides, giant inflatable slides, scooter rides, crafts, face painting, moonwalk, game booths and more. Providing the day’s soundtrack will be performances by No Bad Juju, Daniels and McClain, and Silent Partner. Also featured will be the the Eagles Twirling Corp.
Festival-goers may park at Dormont Stadium or Dormont Elementary School and ride a free shuttle to the Dormont Pool Parking Lot. Shuttle buses will run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

9a.m. – 4p.m.: Grab Bags Distributed
Purchase a $3.00 grab bag, which includes goodies, drink & chance to win a bicycle
10:00 A.M. Foot Races – by the Castle Playground
11:00 A.M. Train Ride – Giant Inflatable Slide –Scooter Rides – Crafts – Face Painting -Moonwalk
Food Booths –Community Booths (11:00 – 5:00)

Bring yourlawn chairs, blankets down to Dormont Pool Parking Lot and enjoy the fireworks! (Rain Date – Thursday July 5, 2012)
