The Allegheny County Parks Department today announced that free swimming lessons will be conducted at the pools in Boyce, North, Settlers Cabin and South parks from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays in July. The classes are open to children ages five and older. Pre-registration is not required.
Classes for individuals with last names beginning with “A” through “K” will start on Tuesday, July 3, and will also meet on July 10, 17 and 24. Classes for individuals with last names beginning with “L” through “Z” will start on Thursday, July 5, and will also meet on July 12, 19 and 26.
