Description: Join the Children’s Museum outside and cool off with the PURIFLUME! The PURIFLUME (EcoBeastie) features a tubular water slide and custom-designed water spray heads commonly found in a municipal spray park – it’s an exciting experience for children of all ages!
PURIFLUME is a mobile, proof-of-concept, closed-loop water filtration system designed and built by a group of students under the direction of Professor John Folan in the Urban Design Build Studio (UDBS) at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Architecture to demonstrate water filtration, and provide information on water conservation. Please visit the Childrens’ Museum website for more information.
