PAST EVENT: The non-profit Millvale Borough Development Corporation (MBDC) is hosting their Sixth Annual Millvale BrewFest (MBF) on Saturday, August 11. The MBF is a showcase of craft and micro brewed beers, and is one of the most affordable beer festivals in the Pittsburgh area!
Held each summer on the second Saturday of August, the fest attracts hundreds of beer-lovers to the beautiful Millvale riverfront park. Award winning beers are enjoyed along with tasty food (picnic style with meat, vegetarian and vegan options) and live music at this annual event.
The MBF features two sessions, 1-4 PM and 5-8 PM. Tickets are sold separately for each session and will include beer, live entertainment, food, and a bottomless (yes, bottomless) souvenir logo tasting glass. The ticket cost is $30 for the first session, and $35 for the second session (CURRENTLY SOLD OUT). If you’ve been to beer festivals before, you know these prices are pretty darn good! Designated drivers can purchase a food ticket for $12. Merchandise and other sundries are offered by various vendors on a pay-per-item basis.
Living Pittsburgh is giving away some free pairs of tickets to this year’s event! Winners will be selected at 12:00pm (noon) on Wednesday, August 8th and notified shortly thereafter. CONTEST WINNER HAS BEEN CHOSEN.
