The goals of the program are to bring newcomers into neighborhood business districts and create a buzz about the business district, through media and word-of-mouth.
By determining what you can do in 48 hours (a weekend), 48 days (roughly, a month), and 48 weeks (a year, projects can be accomplished by volunteers, working together with businesses.
Grant applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. Prior to submitting an application, applicants must meet with URA staff to discuss their project or activity. The maximum grant award is $7,000.
So get creative, and create some “buzz” in your neighborhood! Learn more about the project on the URA’s website.
